This webpage is designed to improve communication between LAFCO and our recreational lease customers regarding mudlock and road access updates across our forestland ownership. The “Status Update” column below provides real time, daily updates as soon as they become available. Lyme will also continue to send email updates to all clubs as usual when mudlocks are installed or removed.

Please note that there are NO specific predetermined dates for when mudlocks are installed or removed – it is all weather dependent. Mudlocks are only removed when the road conditions are suitable for vehicular traffic. 

If you have any questions about whether or not your lease gate has been mudlocked, please review this webpage before contacting our office. We receive numerous inquires about mudlocks throughout the spring and it can be challenging to respond to each individual phone call or email. We hope you will find this to be an efficient, useful resource for you and your fellow lease members.
